To promote discussion, we ask open-ended questions about clients’ objectives for themselves and their children – what do they want to accomplish and where do they want their money to go.
In addition to listening, we find it important to educate – to give clients a solid grasp of long-term-care insurance, rising medical costs, and tax-efficient investment, distribution and estate planning strategies. We also urge both spouses to freely express their comfort with investment risk and the lifestyles they envision.
